Insurance & Fees

Therapy Fees

45-minute individual session: $185

60-minute individual session: $195

90-minute individual session: $285

Intake Appointment: $250

Please note:  I strongly believe that everyone should have access to counseling services regardless of their ability to pay.  For that reason, I offer a limited number of reduced fee sessions for those who are experiencing financial hardship or do not have insurance.  These reduced fees are determined on an individual basis and availability.

INSURANCE

I am an in-network provider for BCBS PPO.  If you plan to use insurance, information regarding your coverage will need to be obtained at the time of scheduling an initial intake appointment.

Telehealth. Not all plans have Telehealth coverage, therefore it is asked that all clients confirm their benefits before starting/continuing services at this time. If you’re unsure of where to start, I have compiled a list of some questions specific to Telehealth coverage to ask your insurance company before we get started:

  • What are my benefits for Telemental health? Is this service covered?

  • If Telemental health is not covered, can I add this service to my plan?

  • If it is covered, are there any restrictions or requirements?

Out of Network. For all other insurance plans, I am considered an "out-of-network" (OON) provider.  What this means is that at the end of each month I will provide an invoice for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. I will gladly walk you through this simple process and answer any questions you might have regarding billing during our intake call. Many clients find they are able to obtain a percentage from insurance for billed OON services.

If you are not covered by BCBS PPO and would like to still use insurance, here are some questions to ask your insurer before we meet:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible before I can start obtaining reimbursement for out of network services?

  • If yes, what is my deductible and how far am I in meeting it for this calendar year?

  • What percentage of services will you reimburse for once my deductible is met?

  • What is the process to submit for out-of-network reimbursement?
