Individual Therapy

I recognize each individual who walks into my office as a true expert of themselves.

I view therapy as a collaborative process and strive to tailor treatment to reflect those goals most important to you.  I create a safe, non-judgmental space to encourage exploration, curiosity and growth to create lasting, meaningful change.

Throughout the course of therapy, we will together identify skills necessary to manage current life stressors, while also delving into deeper rooted issues potentially manifesting in problematic areas present today.  Some issues you may be seeking counseling can include:

  • Trauma

  • Substance misuse

  • Perfectionism

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Relationship issues

  • Codependency

  • Stress management

  • Coping with grief or loss

  • Coping with life transitions - such as a recent divorce or separation, move, attending college, death in the family.

I have extensive, specialized training in a blend of evidence-based therapy modalities and approaches -- some of which include Certification in EMDR Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  I value providing all my clients with the very highest quality of treatment and stay up-to-date on current research in the field.

Sessions are typically offered in 45, 60, and 90 minute increments.  Intensive therapy sessions are offered to explore issues in more depth and can be discussed upon scheduling an initial consultation.
